Distract, apply, & reward!

Distractions are key! Using treats (peanut butter works great!), applying right before mealtime, or following with a belly rub are positive, effective ways to allow time for the product to work it's magic!

Before applying any balm, clean up any excess dirt or debris evident around the area. 

Skin Soother Application
Tin: Use two fingers or a low-absorbent cloth to apply a generous amount of Skin Soother covering the area completely.
Stick: Twist a small amount of Skin Soother up from the stick and gently rub a generous amount onto affected area. 

Repeat one to three times daily. Consistent & frequent application is recommended. Decrease application as you see fit.

Wrinkle Balm Application
Tin: Use two fingers or a low-absorbent cloth to apply a generous amount of Wrinkle Balm into skin fold creases.
Stick: Twist a small amount of Wrinkle Balm up from the stick and gently rub a generous amount into skin fold creases.

Repeat one to three times daily. Consistent & frequent application is recommended for buildup, and foul odors. Wrinkle Balm is even gentle enough to use around sensitive areas such as the face and tail pocket.

WHAT IF MY DOG LICKS IT OFF?:

Luckily, Natural Dog Company organic balms will still work even if most of it has been licked off! The key is to apply as often as possible – especially before bedtime. It is also a beneficial time because your dog is relaxed and less likely to resist. The more time the product is allowed to penetrate, the better. Distractions work wonders! Try a giving your dog a Gnawer to chew on, treats, mealtime, a dab of peanut butter, belly rubs or play with them for a few minutes while the balm works it’s magic!

CAN I PUT WRINKLE BALM DIRECTLY ON FACE WRINKLES?

Yes! Wrinkle Balm is specially formulated to be gentle enough to use around sensitive areas such as the face.You will definitely want to avoid getting any product inside the eyes, but about a half inch should be a safe enough distance to avoid accidental eye contact.

HOW SOON SHOULD I SEE RESULTS?

This is hard to say, it is varies greatly depending on the frequency of use. Many customers see incredible results within the first week, while others may take longer. It is important to apply multiple times daily and try to distract your dog from licking in order to get the best results.

While Skin Soother and Wrinkle Balm both have similar qualities, Skin Soother has a higher concentration of essential oils and is a more powerful formula. Because of this high concentration, it is not recommended for sensitive tissues, such as around the face and eyes. Wrinkle Balm is a milder formula and better suited for those areas.
