Distract, apply, & reward!
With a distraction in tow (we love training treats or maybe their favorite toy) clean up any excess dirt or debris evident around the area you are about to apply the balm too. Use two fingers or a low-absorbent cloth to apply a generous amount of Skin Soother covering the area completely. Allow the area to dry (a nice belly rub always does the trick!) and follow up with a treat or play time for a positive reward!
Repeat one to three times daily. Consistent & frequent application in the first few days is recommended.

WHAT IF MY DOG LICKS IT OFF?:
Natural Dog Company products are 100% natural, safe and edible. Our products will still work even if most of it is licked off. Though, for best results, we advise using distractions. Give your dog a raw bone to chew on, a yummy treat, dinner, or play with them for a few minutes until the carrier oils have had a chance to work it’s magic. We hear peanut butter works great!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I APPLY SKIN SOOTHER?
We recommend applying at least 2-3x daily. Frequent application in the first few days is recommended. Be sure to generously apply, covering the entire area. Decrease use as you see fit.
HOW SOON SHOULD I SEE RESULTS?
This is hard to say, it is varies greatly depending on the initial condition and frequency of use. Many customers see incredible results within the first week, while others make take longer. It is important to apply multiple times daily and try to distract your dog from licking in order to get the best results.

This product was recommended to me after I discovered my dog had a rash on her rear leg.she

This cream is fabulous for so many things! Itchy spots & lumps disappear with this cream, it keeps the inside of ears from being scaly, itchy and dry, insect bites are soothed - this is my initial go to for any doggy skin issues!
With the price point I did have high expectations, it is a lively balm and smells great to me but my dachshunds hate it. The smell is far too strong for hounds, they go crazy when I put it on them to the point I actually think it's cruel me doing so. Unscented would be far better. I don't know if it works as we can't keep it on them long enough to find out!
This stuff is wonderful. We purchased this from the US for our family in the UK. Their dog has bad dry itchy skin. This stuff helps a lot thank goodness.
